Yep, our midose. melts are the perfect pocket-sized sublingual to have at the ready.

It’s time to shake off the proverbial cobwebs, take back your day from feelings of doom and gloom, and find a second wind to spark your creativity and energy.

a dose a day

Just like peanut butter and jelly, THC and CBD work best when taken together.

Both THC and CBD are cannabis cannabinoids that are able to interact with your endocannabinoid system (ECS), helping your body regulate bodily functions like emotional processing, pain, inflammation, immune response, memory, and hunger. The ECS has receptors located all over your body, sending signals for a constant feedback loop when different systems need to be adjusted. In this way, THC together with CBD works with your body’s nervous system to help you navigate stress response and find a feeling of balance. The best way of finding the doses that may help you feel your best is by starting slow and building up until you find your personal sweet spot. Everyone is unique and we all process stress in different ways - for some relief may feel more mental, for others, it may manifest in releasing physical tension in the body. What makes THC and CBD so incredible is how personalized you can be with your doses - putting you in the driver’s seat of your own self-care.

What makes the blend for VERVE melts even more special?

Whatever it is, the It’s not just a carefully selected ratio of THC and CBD. We also added a blend of other special enhancers (vitamin B12, Schisandra Berry, and green tea) that may help brighten your day and ease feelings of stress and anxiety. With a hint of citrus, the midose. VERVE melt is an energetic experience.  you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Vitamin B12

Here at midose. we’re all about keeping the mood high. That’s why one of our favorite enhancers in the VERVE blend is Vitamin B12. If you’ve never heard of the importance of Vitamin B12, you’re in for a treat. To put it simply, vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, plays a vital role in our body’s physiological functions such as helping your body produce red blood cells, DNA synthesis, and supporting your nervous system. But beyond that, Vitamin B12 plays a role in your body’s production of serotonin, our favorite mood-boosting neurotransmitter. In case you need a refresher, serotonin is a neurotransmitter that carries messages between your brain’s central nervous system and the rest of your body’s peripheral nervous system. In this way, serotonin impacts your happiness, as well as memory, and learning abilities. Low levels of serotonin can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, and other health conditions.  A 2005 review of multiple studies found a correlation between people with lower B12 levels and an increase in depression.

Many people may also experience an energy boost with Vitamin B12. That’s because all B vitamins help your body produce energy by breaking down glucose and converting it to ATP. What’s that, you ask? Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, is the organic compound that powers your cells with the energy to function and perform things like nerve impulses and muscle contractions. Pretty cool, right?

Vitamin B12 is naturally found in all animal products - like meat, yogurt, and eggs. So getting enough B12 may be especially tricky for our vegetarian and vegan friends.

Schisandra Berry

This special berry has been well-loved in Chinese and Russian herbal medicines for centuries. According to traditional Chinese medicine, Schisandra Berry or Wu wei-zi supports the liver, helps support vitality, and is added to various formulas to aid with fatigue and improve sleep. “Wu wei zi” means five-flavored fruit, a nod to the five flavors of traditional Chinese medicine: sour, bitter, sweet, salty, and pungent. These five flavors are thought to support your qi or life force.

Schisandra Berry is considered an adaptogen, helping the body handle the mental, emotional, and physical effects of stressors.  A 2023 online article published in Nutrients found that Schisanda Berry demonstrates potential  “anti-cancer, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, among others.” In particular, the berry’s therapeutic properties are tied to their lignan content. Lignans, also found in seeds, fruit, and vegetables, are being studied for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Yep, this little red berry packs a big health punch and may help your body manage feelings of stress and anxiety.

Green Tea

You’ve probably heard of the numerous health and mood-boosting benefits associated with green tea. If not, where have you been?  Green tea is a powerful antioxidant, rich in polyphenol compounds that help combat oxidative stress and reduce free radical damage. In other words, green tea helps protect your body from the effects of stress - aka, cell damage. That’s not all, one study found lower rates of cognitive impairment in middle-aged and older adults who regularly consumed high amounts of green tea!

One main therapeutic component of Green tea is L-theanine. L-theanine is an amino acid present in green tea leaves and comes with a slew of potential health benefits. Like what? Some studies have shown that L-theanine can help increase dopamine and serotonin levels in your body. This is pretty helpful when it comes to trying to decrease stress and anxiety.

L-theanine combined with caffeine can have quite an eye-opening effect on your day, helping you feel more alert and focused.

Ways to Relieve Stress

There is no magic solution to erase all stress or anxiety from life. Stress is actually a vital feeling our bodies have evolved to survive. The problem is when we get stuck in a cycle of chronic stress or when everyday non-life-threatening life events trigger our fight-or-flight instincts.

Things like taking the time to get outside, move your body, drink water, and have meaningful conversations with friends and family go a long way toward helping us de-stress. Inspired by Mother Nature, midose. VERVE is a great reminder to give your body the attention it needs to feel more balanced.
